Welcome to TMTA – Tustin Musical Theatre Academy!
We’re absolutely thrilled to have you join us!
TMTA was created to meet a very special need – providing young performers, ages 7–17, with the opportunity to grow as musical theatre artists while building confidence in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Our program is uniquely designed to focus on each student’s individual growth within a collaborative group setting.
Each year, TMTA produces two shows – one in the fall and one in the spring – and every child is guaranteed a role. What sets us apart is our commitment to helping students develop a wide range of skills. In addition to preparing for their part in the production, each student will also explore the techniques and responsibilities of multiple roles in class, enriching their experience as versatile performers.
To ensure personalized attention and a safe learning environment, class sizes are intentionally kept small. Throughout the semester, students will strengthen their skills in singing, acting, and dancing. Auditions are held on the first day of class as a way to assess each child’s current skill level. We also teach audition techniques during the semester to help students continue to grow in future performance opportunities.
Tuition & Policies:
Monthly tuition is $200, due on the first business day of each month.
Tuition is not prorated based on the number of classes held that month. Even during shorter months or holidays, your child will receive the same high level of instruction through workshops and intensive sessions.
A $20 late fee will be applied to payments made after the 5th of the month.
Tuition is non-refundable. No credits or refunds will be given for missed classes.
Payments can be made through the Tuition page on our website.
Classroom Guidelines:
No food is allowed in the rehearsal space. Water bottles are welcome and encouraged.
Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement.
Jazz or dance shoes are optional but not currently required.
Photos & Media:
Photos and videos may be taken throughout the semester for use on the TMTA website and in promotional materials. By enrolling your child, you grant TMTA permission to use images and recordings of your child unless you notify us otherwise in writing.
The TMTA Experience:
At the end of each semester, students will showcase much of what they’ve learned in a live production, applying their new skills in a meaningful and exciting way!
As a family-owned small business, we are passionate about creating a joyful and inspiring environment where kids can explore their creativity, develop confidence, and have an incredible time doing what they love.
Welcome to the TMTA family – we can’t wait to see your child shine!
